I’m a cook, writer, video producer and more. With over 20 years of experience, 3 degrees and a passion for continued learning and creating, I seek to bring you content that stimulates your mind and heart.

I’ve lived abroad in Australia, Turkey and Jerusalem. I received my professional culinary training in Gaziantep, Turkey which is why I specialize in sharing the delightful recipes of Turkish cuisine.

Living abroad, I’ve learned some German, French and Turkish. I’m passionate about learning about new cultures especially through the lens of food. 

History

I started working in the restaurant industry 20 years ago as an after school job. Through that experience, I became a manager and started working as the talent on training videos for the corporate office. I soon learned that culinary media was the career I wanted to pursue and I currently work as an Associate Editor for a large culinary media company. 

My Educational Background

I have a B.S. in Communication from Kennesaw State University, M.S. in International Communication from Macquarie University and a Culinary Science diploma from the MUSEM Culinary Art Training Center in Gaziantep, Turkey.

Work Background

I’ve worked in restaurants in nearly every position but I also took a route working in the corporate tech world in New York City and humanitarian aid with the United Nations and local NGOs in Turkey. My passion for on camera work and videography led me to start creating my own cooking and travel videos in 2018 when I launched my first YouTube channel. Nearly 300 cooking videos later, I’m still constantly filming, learning and creating so stay tuned.
