Southern Fried Chicken (Crispy, Tender and Marinated)

Okay so I’ll admit, there’s really nothing quite like a good piece of fried chicken. Growing up, my mom didn’t make it too often but when she did it was ALWAYS delicious, flavorful and tender.

Fried chicken is totally a splurge meal but it is a good one to splurge on, lol! This recipe requires a simple buttermilk spice marinade and then a simple batter. It’s really a lot easier than it looks.
